In just a few days, the Foundation for the Development of Caribbean Children (FDCC), will unveil our new state-of the-art website and attractive Facebook and Twitter platforms.

Recognising the ever-increasing role of technology in communication, the FDCC has embraced the internet and social media as strong channels through which our various publics can be engaged.

The FDCC is the first indigenous foundation devoted to promoting early childhood development throughout the region. Our mission is to significantly increase the number of disadvantaged children who acquire the knowledge and skills to prepare them for entry into primary school and lifelong learning by accessing quality early childhood development services.

The website will be revealed for the first time at the Family Literacy and Learning Symposium being held in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia on October 13th and 14th. The launch will prove to be an exciting experience for both those present at the Symposium, as well as those who will participate in the launch online. The FDCC will be embarking on a massive online marketing campaign through email, Facebook and Twitter, in order to drive online users to the website.

Attendees at the symposium will be treated to a live talk/click through and will be exposed to the various features of the innovative website.

The FDCC’s website will provide up to the minute information on the Foundation’s initiatives and activities, testimonials from those who have benefited most from our programmes, useful resources for parents and children as well as research and publications that support our work. The colorful interface and simple design will keep visitors coming back and undoubtedly referring others.

Visitors to our site will also have the opportunity to sign up for membership in the FDCC and very importantly, to donate to the FDCC so our work throughout the region can continue to touch and transform lives.

So, where will you be on the evening of October 13th? Where else but in front of a computer! Mark the date and join in the celebrations as the FDCC goes online!
