Community Health Aides (CHAs) are certified health workers from various communities who are trained to deliver basic health care services and advice to communities. Through the Early Childhood Health Outreach (ECHO) programme, these home visitors are equipped with the knowledge of early childhood development principles and are therefore able to conduct stimulation activities with the children.

CHAs make regular visits to the families, spending between 30 to 60 minutes per visit. They guide and support parent-child stimulation activities and demonstrate various activities to the parents, helping them to further understand the value of each activity in stimulating their young children.
